San José’s Economic Dashboard provides a centralized, data-driven view of the city’s economy and its position within the broader region. The dashboard brings together key indicators on employment, business activity, real estate, income, housing, education, demographics, investment, and quality of life. Data comes from multiple sources, primarily the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the California Employment Development Department (EDD), the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and internal City of San José reporting, as well as other various sources.
