The City of San José is excited to offer contractors a digital experience with the online Construction Contracting Seminar Series this winter.

Participation is FREE for all interested contractors in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, general construction, and concrete and paving services. The sessions are available 24 hours a day online, from February 14 through May 13, 2022.

 In six pre-recorded online sessions, the ins and outs of a public works construction project are shared, from bidding to close-out. Contractors will learn about the City’s Capital Improvement Program construction contracting process, without having to log in at a specific time.

Participating contractors can access six pre-recorded training sessions, and will gain insights into contracting with the City, along with helpful tips for avoiding common pitfalls. All videos will be accessible from February 14 to May 13, 2022.
