Hiring Tax Calculator

  Enterprise Zone Businesses that hire individuals from 13 targeted employment groups can realize significant tax savings.

The Tax Credit Calculator below estimates the hiring tax credit savings.

To use the Tax Credit Calculator:

  1. Enter the year the employee started work, click the button "Insert Years."
  2. Enter the employee's hourly wage rate for each year employed.
  3. The adjusted wage rate will automatically default or calculate the wage rate up to the maximum* wage credit allowance.
  4. In the "Projected Hours" box, enter the number of hours the employee worked each year.
  5. Press "Calculate."

* The hiring tax credit maximum wage allowance is based on the smaller of the actual hourly wage paid or 150% of the minimum wage rate established by the Industrial Welfare Commission.
